Tathra Hotel Monthly News Letter - may 2024
MAY IS HERE!
We hope you are all enjoying the glorious Autumn weather. Now that school holidays are over the hotel becomes more of a venue for locals. It was nice to see good numbers at the complimentary Anzac Day breakfast.
The new Autumn menu has been well received and the kitchen team have been pumping out plenty of meals in good time. Pizzas will continue to be available from 11.30am - 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Now that the hotel is not so busy the kitchen are planning a Tuesday Taco day with four different options and a Parma Wednesday with a number of different toppings. Both available lunch and dinner.
Even though the busy tourist season is over the hotel will continue to open at 8am for breakfast.
Mother's Day is always popular so make a booking if you want to sit in the dining room.

BUILDING WORKS
Building the Theatre
Theatre construction is proceeding well. The concrete slab has been poured and the steel structure is taking shape. We are starting to think about programming and recently had a meeting with Musica Viva who are interested in sending some music our way.
BREWERY
Three New Brewed Beers
Simon has a busy month coming up with another canning run set up for the end of the month. A new addition to the canning range will be a European style lager done in collaboration with Monti's restaurant in Merimbula who will be supplying some fresh pasta to add to the brew!
Two new rotational beers will be hitting our taps. They are brewing a Bavarian style Hefeweizen, a traditional wheat beer with big banana phenolics, and an Enigma S.M.A.S.H ale, a Single Malt And Single Hop ale using Gladfields American Ale malt and Enigma Hops from N.Z.

LIVE MUSIC will continue on Sundays from 3.30pm - 6.30pm.

The popular SESSION will be on May 3 from 6pm (fast session) and May 17 (slow session). The guitar sing-a-long session has been well received and will continue on the second Thursday of each month from 5.30pm - May 9.
