AUGUST GREETINGS!
Suddenly there is only one month of winter left! We are really enjoying our first winter on the coast - the weather has been delightful and soon the whales be migrating past.
HEADLAND THEATRE
August is packed with extraordinary experiences at Headland Theatre
Step inside the imagination of Victor Hugo with the visually stunning theatrical work The Brainstorm, by local actor Patrick Dickson. Explore the future of our oceans at Currents of Change featuring local scientists, conservationists and activists. Celebrate Australia's golden age of live music with acclaimed journalist Bernard Zuel and photographer Stu Spence, then revisit an Australian cult classic with a special 4K screening of Going Down followed by a Q&A with star Tracy Mann. Theatre, film, music and big ideas—all in one unforgettable month on the Headland Theatre.

GOING DOWN is a dark, hilarious odyssey through pulsating Sydney in the 1980s as four young women spend their last night together. Karli (Tracy Mann) is going to New York the next morning and their youth is ending in a girls night out they’ll never forget.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Tracy Mann.

BREWERY
The brewery team have been catching up with maintenance and cleaning.
The Apricot Wheat beer is now on tap and proving to be popular. It will soon be joined by the Lighthouse Hazy Pale which will replace the XPA.

There is now a piano in the bar and is not there just for hired musicians - if anyone feels like playing ask the bar staff for a key.
