FEBRUARY GREETINGS!
We hope you have all had an enjoyable festive season and have a happy 2026! We are catching our breath after a very busy holiday period. A great effort by all the staff particularly the kitchen team who put out more than 1,000 meals some days.
THEATRE
Opening - March & April Program
This March and April, the Tathra Hotel proudly launches Headland Theatre — a new intimate performance space bringing live music, theatre, screenings, conversations and more to the coast. The opening program features an exciting lineup of acclaimed musicians and performers, with something for lovers of live music, family shows, great storytelling and shared nights out.

The program in March features local music legends Daniel Champagne and Heath Cullen, as well as a special double-bill show with Kara Coen and the Fireflies and Piper Allen and her band. The month rounds out with country music star Luke O'Shea, winner of 17 Golden Guitar Awards.
The April program features great entertainment for family audiences during the school holidays with Little Wings Puppets shows, performances by The Vegetable Plot and the return of the Magic Lantern Show to Tathra. DIVA, a musical cabaret show with ever fabulous Queenie van de Zandt features songs made famous by legendary musical theatre divas.
And keep Saturday 18 April available for a full day of celebration at the Hotel - more info coming soon.
KITCHEN
Valentine’s Day Specials
The chefs will be putting out some Valentine’s Day specials on February 14.
Pizzas available every Saturday and Sunday.
BREWERY
Hazy Pale Back on Tap
Simon's seasonal brews and the return of the Ginger (Wh)Ale have been very popular over summer. The Hazy Pale will be making a return soon.
All the cans packaged in December have sold very well in local bottleshops and there is not much left. The next canning run will be towards the end of the month.
LIVE MUSIC & EVENTS
Live music will continue to be 4-7pm through the warmer months. This month we have:

February 1: Michael Menager Trio
February 7- 8: The Fuelers - on tour
February 14: Klaus Tietz
February 15: Malumba
February 22: The Butcher Brothers - Mike Martin & Andy Zarins
The popular SESSION will be on Friday February 6 from 6pm (fast session) and February 20 (slow session). The guitar sing-along session will be on Thursday February 12 from 5.30pm.
There is now a piano in the bar and is not there just for hired musicians - if anyone feels like playing ask the bar staff for a key.

POETS BREAKFAST - OPEN MIC
Feb. 22 & Mar. 22
It was great to see such a good crowd for the first Poets Breakfast. There were a good number of poets reading their own work and we hope it will continue to do well.
