WELCOME TO NOVEMBER!
Suddenly we are getting towards the end of the year. It was terrific to see so many people on the headland for the Writers Festival. It has quickly become a significant festival for the region with many writers describing it as one of the best writers festivals in the country. Big thanks to all those who contributed. The whales also put on a good show that weekend and throughout October.
NUP TO THE CUP
Celebrate the hotel being a gambling free venue on the first Tuesday in November. The kitchen are putting out a special two course lunch/dinner that comes with a free glass of beer or champagne.

KITCHEN
NUP TO THE CUP | WEDNESDAY SPECIALS
Tibin and his team are starting to think about the busy holiday period ahead. In the meantime special happenings this month:
Tuesday November 5 (lunch and dinner) - Seafood platter for two plus a slice of cheesecake and glass of beer or champagne for $90
Wednesday November 13 - BBQ specials for lunch and dinner
Wednesday November 20 - Two special curries available incl. vegetarian
Wednesday November 27 - Schnitzel Day.
Pizza will continue on Sundays as well as the Sunday Roast. The hotel will be open from 8am every day for breakfast and coffee.
BUILDING WORKS
Building the Theatre
The theatre continues to take shape with lots of interest from potential performers and audience. Nick and Jack have nearly completed the stonework on the street side and we are looking forward to the scaffolding coming down.
BREWERY
The 500th Brew!!
November is a busy month in the brewery. Simon is getting ready for the next canning run on November 21 - Four beers to be packaged - Pale Ale, IPA, Hazy Pale and the popular Ginger beer.
The brewery has just done its 500th brew!! Simon says:
"For this special occasion we have brewed a hybrid West Coast XPA that we are calling Little Lost Pod. This refreshing treat will be available on tap once our final kegs of Great Weizen Whale (Bavarian style hefeweizen) is all finished up."
LIVE MUSIC & EVENTS
LIVE MUSIC will continue on Sundays from 4pm - 7pm.

Nov. 24: Guitarama
The popular SESSION will be on Friday November 1 from 6pm (fast session) and November 22 (slow session). The guitar sing-along session will be on Thursday November 13 from 5.30pm.
