We hope you have all had an enjoyable festive season and have a happy 2026!
THEATRE
January Events Postponed | Watch This Space!!
The theatre is finished and the final inspection prior to Christmas went well. We now have to get all the dreaded paperwork done prior before the occupation certificate will be issued. It's certainly not easy getting a project done these days and after ten years we are pleased the hotel renovation is now complete.
We had some shows planned in the theatre for January and these will now be on in a month or two.
KITCHEN
Summer Menu & New Pizza
Tibin and his team have made some menu adjustments to cope with the summer crowds.
Pizzas are available most days through January with some new options on the menu.
BREWERY
Hazy Pale Back on Tap
The canning run in early December went smoothly and the Pale Ale, Hazy Pale and IPA are now available at the hotel and in local bottleshops and restaurants.
The popular "Where's the Lighthouse" Hazy Pale Ale is now back on tap and the Hefeweizen will be making a return when the Abbey Ale runs out.
LIVE MUSIC & EVENTS
Live music will continue to be 4-7pm through the warmer months. This month we have:
January 3 - 5: Chango Tree
January 9 - 12: Wrack 'n Ruin
January 16 - 18: Sam Martin and The Sundowners - always great shows with some surprise artists
January 23 - 26: Pepper, Davies and friends
January 31: Jackson State
The sessions are taking a break this month and will return in February.
There is now a piano in the bar and is not there just for hired musicians - if anyone feels like playing ask the bar staff for a key.

CIRCUS FOR ALL WORKSHOPS
Jan. 1-5
From January 1 - 5 Jesse Holden will be back with his very popular circus workshops from 4pm. Great for adults and children! Free entry.
Jesse has been a circus performer. He graduated from the National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne. He would love to share his skills and you can follow him at https://www.instagram.com/jester_onfire/
Jan. 25, Feb. 22 & Mar. 22
We are excited to announce the start of a poets breakfast on the fourth Sunday of each month commencing January 25 from 9am - 11am. The poetry sessions at the Headland Writers Festival have been well received and this initiative has grown as a result.
