HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We hope you all had an enjoyable festive season and wish you all the best for 2025. There are plenty of visitors in town and we are doing our best to look after them. We have made some adjustments to our wine list and have also introduced a range of Spritz drinks incl non alcoholic.
KITCHEN
PIZZA new menu 7days
It is a chaotic time for the kitchen crew but Tibin has things very well organised. To take some pressure off the kitchen pizzas are available every day from midday to 6pm. Most of the tourists seem to want to eat dinner early so if you are coming down for a meal perhaps leave it until after 7pm. Best to make a booking if you want to eat in the dining room.
BUILDING WORKS
Building the Theatre
The builders are off for most of January. We are looking forward to the theatre being finished in the early part of the year and then get into programming.
BREWERY
New beers on tap
The Little Lost Pad West Coast XPA is now on tap and proving to be quite popular. The Enigma S.M.A.S.H. is coming to an end with the Where's The Lighthouse Hazy Pale all kegged up and ready to take its place.
The outside of the theatre is nearly complete. Nick and Jack are on the last bit of stonework which really looks terrific and the cladding is starting to go on to the upper sections. The builders will be taking a break for a few weeks to avoid disturbing the tourists.
BREWERY
New beers on tap | More canning
The brewers have just finished another canning run. East Coast Canning bring their mobile canning unit to the hotel and 3,000 litres are canned in a day. This time they have packaged up Pale Ale, Ginger beer, IPA and Hazy Pale Ale. They are all available at the hotel or in selected local bottleshops and restaurants.
On tap the Weiss beer is coming to an end and will be replaced by a West Coast XPA and likewise the Enigma S.M.A.S.H. will be superseded by the popular Hazy Pale Ale.
LIVE MUSIC & EVENTS
LIVE MUSIC will be on in four day blocks throughout January (Fri - Mon).
Jan. 3-6: Wrack & Ruin - Phil returns with his band a new album
Jan. 10-13: ChangoTRee
Jan. 17-20: Pepper and Davies Quartet
Jan. 24-27: Sam Martin and the Sundowners with Louise Horwood
The sessions will be taking a break in January returning on February 7.
CIRCUS WORKSHOP Jan. 1st -5th
From January 1 - 5 Sam Holden will be doing CIRCUS WORKSHOPS in the garden area from 5pm - 7pm. Free entry.
