Celtic Folk is a Canberra-based ensemble that performs a broad selection of Celtic-inspired music with a more contemporary twist. Their repertoire is rooted in folk music from all around the world, including Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Galicia (Spain), Brittany (France), Russia, Turkey, Romania and Central and Eastern Europe (including Klezmer). The traditional melodies are played with energy, and Celtic Folk has a lot of fun stirring the emotions with artistry and finesse!
