Hailing from Bega on the beautiful Far South Coast, Pickin’ Thyme draws together three experienced local musicians through their mutual love of toe-tapping bluegrass and related acoustic music styles.

Ralph Cullen (vocals, guitar, tin whistle), Fiona Cullen (vocals, guitar) and Paul McMurray (banjo, mandolin, vocals) bring a diverse musical background to their bluegrass/newgrass sound.

With experiences as wide-ranging as bush bands, chamber folk ensembles, musical theatre and acoustic pop/rock, Pickin’ Thyme have developed both a traditional and unique take on bluegrass music.
