Sam Martin and the Sundowners present a weekend of Country Soul music at the Tathra Hotel. 

The all-singing outfit will feature Sam Martin (guitar) alongside regulars Pete Wild (piano) and David Hewitt (drums) with the addition of Nick Keeling (banjo and trombone) and Robyn Martin (double bass). The music is styled on the energetic street music of New Orleans and the infectious melody and rhythms of Zydeco, Swing and Soul. 

The Sundowners sound is steeped in local story, accent and humour. They are renowned for hauling their own acoustic piano into the Tathra Hotel and creating an atmosphere that resembles the lounge of a parlour bar from a bygone era. Sam's sense of wit is quick and he presents a fun family show through music and cheeky antics. 

His relationship with compadres Pete and David is musical a kinship that has been developing for over a decade. The addition of Robyn (and musicians that he has worked alongside over the last 15 years) is like adding the perfect amount of butter to a fresh cob of Jellat Jellat corn.
