Jackson State are a fast emerging far south coast band that play an eclectic farm-fresh blend of soul infused R&B and funky roots music with generous overtones of folky Hickster. Local organically grown songs that free range the topic field, a world perspective as seen from the hills of the far south coast.

The musings of Steve Jackson on guitar supported by the legendary Damon Davies on double bass and the amazing John Trapper on percussion. Steve Jackson is the new boy on the 'Candelo music scene block' but is supported by two of Australia’s finest musicians, another musical gem from the deep south, not to be missed.
