Live Music with ' The Truck Brothers ' at the Tathra Hotel.
Sat 19th October 3-6pm.
Free admission.
Coming to the Tathra Hotel… global rock phenomenon, The Truck Brothers, musically conjoined sextuplets, separated at birth and all curiously given the same christian name of Bob. It was inevitable that Tathra, the musical magnet of the south coast, would somehow reunite these 5 lads to bring to the world their unique take on the great songs of the 60s, 70, 80s and beyond.
Renowned for their One Night Only World Tours, the Truck Brothers will be exclusively appearing at the Tathra Hotel on Saturday afternoon, 19th October kicking off around 3:00pm. Come along and sample some acoustic renditions of wonderful songs from decades past and then some not be missed rock that will have everyone’s booty shakin’.
When asked why Tathra, lead singer Bob Truck replied, “We’ve played most of the world’s best venues and were looking to get back to our grass roots in country Australia.”. The band’s feature guitarist, Bob Truck, can’t wait to turn it up again with his brothers. He added, “Its time Tathra got well and truly Trucked and we are just the band to do it.”.
The Truck Brothers alter-egos include Bega Valley locals, guitar guru Dave Sparks (Lime Spiders, Saints, Gyan, owner of Pirate Records), percussion prima-donna John ‘Trapper’ Trevena (Jimmy Little, John Paul Young, Pugsley Buzzard) and Chris Sparks (Truck Brothers founder) led by the edgy vocals of Rob O’Connell (Safari Set, Temper Temper, Train Set, Saints) and drummer stalwart Chris Badger (legend of all the unknown bands).
