The latin-jazz Octagon Project is a live interpretation of the breakout album Octagon, the culmination of master craftsman Neil Sagewood’s long life in jazz piano. His daughter Charlotte, an accomplished bassist, brought the exceptional, boundary-breaking drummer/percussionist and studio engineer Ben Walsh (The Bird, Circle of Rhythm) to the octagonal music studio built by Neil at his Blue Mountains home.

For this event, the Sagewood's are joined by drummer extraordinaire Greg Sheehan and local talent John Travina, in what promises to be a raising of the roof in celebration of this endlessly inventive album which draws on over 40 years of musical inspiration from swinging London jazz clubs in the 1970s to the vibrant rhythms of Cuban streets.
